This office is often referred to as the “Hub of the Township” as all municipal records such as minutes, books, bonds, contracts and archival records are stored in this office. Monroe Township is a Faulkner Act form of government with the Clerk’s Office being under the Legislative branch of government. The role of the Municipal Clerk is a diverse one encompassing a number of responsibilities serving all levels of the government.
